"From the halls of Montazuma, to the shores of Tripoli" .....hey, wait a minute, that's my name. Tripoli. Guess that's where my mom and dad got the name. Big Marine family and all. Good thing too, because Marines are known not to give up and that's the kind of family I need right now.
See, even though I'm just a baby, I'm afraid of everyone and everything. This is my 3rd home in my short life, and I don't know what to think. Mom and dad are working very hard to make me feel safe, but I still like under the bed best. I like playing with my fur brother and sister, and sometimes I will sleep next to them on the couch.

Mom and dad are working on my fears right now, and getting my vaccinations I need. Mom hopes when all is done I will be ready to find my forever home.
I can't wait!
Please keep checking back on my baby girl's progress. Her spirit is there, just hidden.

Update: 5/1/13. Mom is making today my official birthday. I have grown up a lot, but know I still have some growing to do.
I don't feel like I have to hide under the bed all the time. I have a nice crate that I can go into to de-stress if needed. And when mom and dad go to work, I go into my crate without a argument. I walk well on a leash, and will go outside with mom and dad on my own. I still have to do things on my own time, but mom and I play a lot in the evening when she gets home from work. If she doesn't realize it's play time, I get up on the couch and cry. Sunday mornings it all about a short tussle on the bed, then the cuddles. Mom is now focused on teaching me basic commands, and getting me out in the public.
