Students Rally In Donations For Legacy!
June 2009, Plano Texas

For one week, the student council kids set up a booth at the front of the school, where they took in donations that consisted of dog food, toys, bedding, leashes, collars, just to name a few. A wall titled "wall of best friends" was created and was open to the school kids to bring in pictures of their "best friend". In addition to pictures of dogs and cats, other best friends were: sugar gliders, hermit crabs, horses, lizards, just to name a few. The kids got to vote at the end of the week on several categories (ex: cutest dog/cat; most unique animal; most unique name) for the pets displayed. The winner/s took home a certificate.

They all had a great time on this special project. We are very proud of what they accomplished and the cause for which they worked for. All items collected were donated to the boxers at Legacy Boxer Rescue.
