CHRISTIE - Mom to Spice, Jaxson, Natty, Mindy and Dewey
I decided to volunteer with Legacy after meeting Jania and working with her to place boxers that had been brought into our shelter here in Azle. Jania really made a great impression on me. I decided that I would love to help a group so dedicated and easy to work with. I have been an Animal Control Officer for 6 years and nothing makes my job easier than a devoted rescue group. I am not allowed to take anymore home but it seems like they follow me. I have been told by my better half that 6 is our limit. I had tried about 4 years ago to rescue a boxer from another group and was turned down. I then found a 3 week old boxer boy to bring into our lives from a back yard breeder. I was able to nurse him through the rough spots and make him into this monster we call Jaxson. Luckily I did get him or who knows if he would have made it. We love all our dogs and they are all part of our family but Jaxson hogs the limelight with his slobbery kisses and his wiggly butt. Keep up the good work LBR!
