ERICA & BRADEN - Mom & Dad to Abbey and Mac
We decided to volunteer for Legacy because we believe fully in what they do. We got our baby Abbey from a breeder, and ended up being sent home with a puppy that was too young, not fully weaned and unhealthy. It took us months to get her to gain weight and keep her food down. I think that there are many people out there who aren't prepared when they purchase a pet and find themselves with more than they can handle. Thankfully we were prepared and were able to nurse Abbey back to health. Abbey is now 9 mo old and healthy as can be, she loves to run, play, chew, snuggle, and talk...even if it means talking back!

We wanted to get involved with Legacy Boxer Rescue because we believe in the boxer breed! They are the most amazing, energetic, and loving animal we have ever known. We hope to be able to help find homes for these amazing babies where their new families are prepared and ready for such an amazing addition to their family. We want to do whatever it takes to help these precious animals who have been through so much to find forever homes with loving families.
