Welcome to Louie’s bio page!
Louie was surrendered to LBR by his owner, no fault of his own, we’re thankful they reached out for us to help him. He’s 4 ½ months young and the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet, very soft and very social, hasn’t met a stranger yet. He’s met several new people while in LBR’s care along with several new dogs of all sizes and ages and has made instant friends with everyone. Know’s sit and will sit for his food patiently, takes treats very gently. Louie enjoy’s playing, running around in the backyard with his foster brothers and sister while they lick all over him. He also likes to stay chill, relax and snuggle up, so he’s got a great balance. When he meets kids, it’s with pure joy and excitement so we’re working on “No Jump!” so probably best with dog savvy kids and parent(s) that can continue working with him on the jumping.
He’s crate & house trained so that is a huge plus. With him still being a puppy, he will finds things to chew if he’s bored, so you’ll want to keep puppy approved chewing items around for him; deer antlers, kong toys, etc.
Check back for updates as we get to know him more!
