Hi! My name is Ocho. I am an 8 year old boxer with plenty of pep in my step. I love to gives sloppy boxer kisses to my people and just enjoy being next to you. I love to wrestle and run around the yard with my foster sister, June Bug. I am crate trained and house trained. I had a skin tag removed, but that wasn't a big deal. I was surrendered to the shelter when my owner got sick and couldn't care for me anymore. I weighed 52 pounds when I came to LBR in September and I have put 23 pounds since then. I now weigh a healthy 75 pounds. I enjoy eating and love to get treats. I used to chomp at treats with excitement, but I am getting better with taking treats gently. I know ʺsitʺ and ʺlay downʺ. I also know how to ring the door bell when I need to go potty. I am very affectionate with my people. If you are looking for a bigger boxer who has a good energy level and lots of love to give, please consider me. I would love to meet you!
Update: We have learned that Ocho has a torn ACL and he will have TPLO surgery in the new year to repair this. Recovery time is expected to be 14-16 weeks. He is still available to meet families at this time.
