Hi everyone! I’m Fallyn! I'm pretty new around here and my foster mom says I have a long way to go before I can really look for my forever family. I was a very sick girl when I turned up at a shelter and the shelter workers worked really hard to help me while LBR found me a spot. Then I had to spend some time at the ER to help me get started on my new life--I've heard words like ʺemaciated (means super skinny!), anemic (blood was wonky!), and flea-infested (ugh...itchy!). I'm doing better now, but it will be a little while before I can meet families. I have to get strong enough for my vaccinations, then I have to get something called a ʺspay,ʺ and then I will have to go through heartworm treatment to get rid of the nasty heartworms.

My foster mom said it was time for an update—so here I am!! I am really feeling so much better and I play now!! I smile and wag my tail (oh yeah—still have my pretty tail!!) all the time and I have really settled into the routine in my foster home. I am house and crate trained and know sit, down, and wait. I walk very nicely on my leash and only pull when I see a squirrel….. or a bunny….or a cat…..but you can’t blame me for that, right?? Mom says I’m super sweet and a great snuggler, too. I love to snuggle!! It has been so much fun to discover bones and toys and I am learning to love to play. I even play with my fur-brother (a Boxer) and sister (a Jack Russell Terrier).
I still have to go to the vet regularly to get my blood checked—we are still working to get it all straightened out so that I can continue to get healthy. Once I’m completely healthy and able to get my vaccinations (more shots! UGH!), get spayed (no more puppies!), and be treated for my heartworms, I’ll be able to find my very special forever home!! I can’t wait to be able to go places and meet new people and dogs!!
Peace, love, and boxers,
Fallyn
