Hello there, my name is Zia! It means splendor or light, and I bring lots of it to my foster home. I meet everyone at the door with my ears perked up and my whole body wiggling with excitement, I love to have people come over for a visit! My favorite thing in the world is to go for a walk or a ride in the car, I love to see the world and everyone in it. Like any respectable lady I've got excellent manners and perfect people skills, what more could you ask for?
I am a middle-aged girl at about 5-6 years old, but there's plenty of life and spunk left in me don't you worry. I'm queen bee at my foster home, you see I've been a mama dog many times and I always have to make sure that everyone is in line doing as they're told. I love children and really enjoy following them around and watching them as they play, just like a good mama should. I'd love to find a forever home with some kids just for me!
I'm friends with the other dogs in my foster home, but I'm perfectly happy to be the princess and the center of attention. I prefer the couch or bed as opposed to my crate, but I promise to be a good girl and leave things just as you left them. Any good hostess meets her guests at the door with a smile and a hug, that yucky crate just cramps my style so please just leave me out to rule my roost while you're away!
