Do you want to make a difference in the life of a needy boxer? Well now you can! You can sponsor one of our rescue boxers and help him/her get the fresh start they deserve!

Every cent of your generous donation will go toward the boxer’s vet care, food and necessities. Our adoption fees and fundraisers do not cover the costs of the many dogs in our program.

Please help LBR offset these costs and sponsor a boxer today!

Thank you for your support!!!

I haven't been sponsored yet.

Hi! My name is Sassy and I am 7 months old. Yup! I'm a young one but I have already been through a lot. The breeder that had me and my brother was very irresponsible and neglected us all the time. Well… his neglect led us to have really bad cases of demodex mange. My breeder finally decided to give us to the SPCA and I got to come to Legacy Boxer Rescue which made me so happy.

I remember how horrible I felt and must have looked on my first day with my foster family. They were so nice to me. My foster mom gave me a t-shirt to wear so that I wouldn't scratch myself and make my wounds worse. She also let me sleep in her lap. It was so wonderful to have someone pay attention to me! Best of all, foster mom started giving me cheese (I know that she was using it to hide the medicine I had to take but that’s ok)! I LOVE CHEESE and will do anything for another piece of sliced cheese even go in my crate!

Its been a couple of weeks and my foster mom says she can hardly recognize me. My skin is almost completely healed and my hair is growing back. My foster mom says that I am becoming so beautiful! Me! Beautiful! Just wait until I am completely better!

I have a foster brother and sister that I love to play with. They are trying to teach me to play tug and chase. They are so much bigger than me right now so I don't win very often but I have a lot of fun when we play. I may be the youngest and smallest one in the bunch, but I like to think I am already as big as them! They are rescue dogs like me and tell me all the time that my foster mom and the other volunteers at Legacy Boxer Rescue will find me a really awesome home just like this one. Could you be my forever family?
