Hi, my name is Maggie Sunshine. I know it’s a big name for a little girl but it really does fit me! My foster family calls me Maggie Sunshine because I have such a sunny disposition! They also call me the, "Lil’ Tornado" but I can't imagine why.

My life didn't start out very well because I was used as a bait dog for a Pit Bull but I was a lucky one and got away. I have scarring on my face and chest from being bit and a pretty bad "owie" on my leg from a Pit Bull attack that will take a long time to heal. I’m still very young, so the scars won’t show when I grow up into a beautiful Boxer girl.

My foster mom says I'm a real trooper because she has to change the bandages on my leg twice a day. I lie down and hold still for her and never whine or fuss even though mom knows it really hurts. I don't mind it at all because I know she’s helping me get better and I refuse to let it slow me down or bother me.

I'm a little wiggly though; OK, I'm **really** wiggly because I'm Boxer puppy and I refuse to let some mean ole Pit Bull break my Boxer sprit! Oh by the way, I give LOTS AND LOTS of kisses.

I love my whole foster family and I kiss all of them all the time. There's a big Boxer boy here that I just can't get enough of, he plays with me all day long and have a lot of fun. When we’re tired I lay with him because he’s big and makes me feel safe, he's my best buddy next to my foster mom. Mom calls me her shadow because I follow her wherever she goes. Did I mention how much I love giving kisses?? Just ask the little boy that lives with us, he'll tell you how much I like giving kisses because I kiss on him ALL the time!

Foster Mom’s note. Miss Maggie is a very exceptional girl. After all that she's been through she's still has that wonderful loving and fun Boxer spirit that Boxers are known for.

Maggie is about 6-9 months old and very much the high-spirited, happy and behaved puppy with lots of love for everyone she meets! She doesn't let her injured leg get in the way of ANYTHING she wants to do. She gets along great with our other Boxers (especially the male) and my son (the two legged one).

Maggie is house broken, well behaved and she is learning basic commands, but she is really smart and she will learn them quickly.

Maggie does pretty well in her crate once you get her it!
