Do you want to make a difference in the life of a needy boxer? Well now you can! You can sponsor one of our rescue boxers and help him/her get the fresh start they deserve!

Every cent of your generous donation will go toward the boxer’s vet care, food and necessities. Our adoption fees and fundraisers do not cover the costs of the many dogs in our program.

Please help LBR offset these costs and sponsor a boxer today!

Thank you for your support!!!

I haven't been sponsored yet.

My name is Chynna. I’m only about 8 months old, and let’s face it, I’m cute…even without much hair. I have a really bad case of demodex mange and when Legacy first rescued me, and my sister Kali, we were pretty scabby. We used to spend lots of time scratching, but not anymore. My foster mom says my hair is growing in nicely, and demodex dogs usually end up having beautiful coats. I could really care less what I look like as long as I have someone to love on me and another dog to aggravate….oops, I meant PLAY WITH. My foster home has several other boxers, and I love to play with all of them. They let me jump all over them, and then when I’m tired they let me snuggle up with them. It’s really great, so I’d really like my new forever home to have another dog(s) to play with please.

I’m not housebroken yet, but I’m really trying. Foster mom says part of the problem is the medicine I’ve been taking makes me so thirsty, so I drink a lot, and let’s face it, I could miss out on some serious play time if I went all the way outside to potty every single time I needed to go. Now that I’m through with my meds, my foster family is expecting some great progress and I don’t want to let them down, so I’m gonna get really serious. I’m learning to sit. Apparently when it comes to treat time, those that sit first get treats first and cuteness doesn’t count for much. I know what “no” means, but I sometimes like to test it just to make sure my foster people really mean it on some things (because some of the things they tell me “no” on sure are fun.)

Anyway, that’s it, I’m cute, adorable, and I love to play and snuggle….what more could you want? Just fill out an application if you’d like me to be a member of your family forever, and the Legacy folks will get back with you. P.S. Did ya notice how cute my ears are??
