Hi, my name is Beau and I'm looking for my forever home. My foster mom says I have demodex mange, but we're working on getting it cleared up! She says I'm a really good boy and take my medicine like a champ. I'm definitely starting to feel better. I have two awesome foster sisters that I love to play with and chase! One of them invented a new game called "make the boxers chase the stick" which is a total blast. My foster boxer sister and I go around and around the yard chasing our lab/weim sister who carries the stick. It is so much fun. I love rubber toys, especially sturdy ones like my red kong toy and my sister's rubber frog. They last and last and I chew on them to my heart's delight! My foster mom calls me her "happy man," especially when she gets home and lets me out of my crate. I am so excited and wiggily, and I curl my lips up into my best boxer boy smile. I guess that's why she calls me "smiley man" too. She thinks it's so funny when I run across the yard to her and I can't keep my lips from flapping. I don't know why she laughs so hard!! Oh, and I haven't one made a mistake in the house or my crate. And, I don't whine in my crate either. I don't really like to go in it too much because I'd rather snuggle with you. But once I'm in there I'm fine as long as I have something soft to sleep on. I love to eat and am very interested in this stuff my foster mom calls "people food." She says it's not good for dogs, especially big boxer boys like me. I sure like to watch her while she gets it ready, and I just know she'll drop something. Usually I'm content to lie down in the kitchen and watch my foster family, or on the big soft dog pillow in the living room. That is, unless I'm playing with my foster sisters. I'm really easy to get along with, my foster mom says. But I don't really like other boy dogs too much. Oh, and please be patient with me, some objects are frightening at first. The other day, my foster mom picked up her slippers and I was afraid of them. I show concern at other objects people pick up too. I'm also a little wary of sudden loud noises, and I'm learning that these things will not hurt me anymore. My foster mom and dad makes sure nothing scary happens to me. So, please if your heart is big enough, and you want a loyal boxer boy for your companion, help me find my forever home!
