Do you want to make a difference in the life of a needy boxer? Well now you can! You can sponsor one of our rescue boxers and help him/her get the fresh start they deserve!

Every cent of your generous donation will go toward the boxer’s vet care, food and necessities. Our adoption fees and fundraisers do not cover the costs of the many dogs in our program.

Please help LBR offset these costs and sponsor a boxer today!

Thank you for your support!!!

I haven't been sponsored yet.

Howdy! I'm Annie. My foster mom says that I'm one of the bounciest wiggly boxers she's ever seen and she tells me she's seen a lot of them. I'm about 8-10 months old and I'm always ready to play.

Legacy Boxer Rescue saved me from the shelter. I was scared in there and I'm still sorta scared in new situations. It took me a couple of days to warm up to the other boxers in my foster home (there's four of us!), but now that I know them and love them we sure do play a lot. I have a foster sister (Madeline) that I love to play with but only because she knows I'm the boss of her. My foster mom says I'm dominant and shouldn't go to a home with another female - whatever that means, I just want someone to play with me!

I'm crate trained too, I didn't like my crate when I first got here, but then I realized that I get yummy treats everytime I go in there - and it's warm to sleep in. Sometimes my foster brother, Kaiser, gets in my crate and we sleep in there together. I'm pretty good about sharing things.

I'm still working on my potty training but I'm getting it down. If my foster mom forgets to let me out once an hour and I have to go - well, she should have let me out! My foster brother, Kaiser, rings the bell when he needs to go out and I'm picking up a little on that too, but haven't quite got it figured out.

I need to go to a home with an understanding family that realizes that it can take me a little time to accept new situations and has a doggie brother for me to pal around with. I haven't spent alot of time around children, so I'm not quite sure how I feel about them yet.
